Only third-party liability insurance for your car is mandatory. Private liability and home insurance are strongly recommended, and in some cases required to obtain a loan.

Take photos if you can, fill in the accident report together with the other party, call the police if needed, then contact the agency straight away for the next steps. The same applies to incidents at home: act quickly, document the damage and prevent further damage.

Contracts usually run for one year and renew automatically. To cancel, give notice at least 30 days before the annual renewal date. If the insured object changes, you move abroad or you sell it, the contract can be cancelled at that moment.
