Luxembourg service guide
Describe your roof and energy needs
Give the address, roof type and approximate usable area, orientation and known shade. Add your recent electricity use and planned changes such as an EV charger or heat pump. Tell the installer whether a battery is in scope. A site assessment should confirm the roof condition and electrical setup before the final design.

Describe the job in your own words. The assistant helps prepare a clear request before you choose which providers to contact.
What to consider
Check the installer's proposed scope
Ask for panel and inverter models, mounting method, electrical-board work, scaffolding, monitoring and a production estimate with its assumptions. Identify any excluded roof repairs or grid-connection costs. Check the installer's relevant professional authorisation and who will carry out the electrical work. Do not infer availability or qualification from a directory listing alone.
What to consider
Compare VAT, grants and the final price
Compare the same scope and the final amount including tax. The official VAT guidance states that supply and installation of solar panels on private housing are directly subject to 3% VAT. Ask each installer to state the applied rate.
Klimabonus depends on the applicable scheme and order date. The official 2026 rules calculate support by capacity, not a universal percentage. They also require self-consumption operation and an express waiver of any regulated feed-in remuneration; surplus electricity can still be sold at market price. Ask which scheme and application route the installer has assumed. Keep grant amounts provisional until eligibility is confirmed.
What to consider
Compare written quotes fairly
Share one brief with at least two installers. Compare system size, equipment, warranties, installation timetable, roof and electrical work, grid responsibilities, VAT-inclusive total and payment schedule. Ask for the assumptions behind projected annual production and self-consumption. A lower headline price can reflect excluded work rather than a better offer.
What to consider
Before you approve the work
Confirm the final written scope, who handles permits and grid steps, how changes are priced, and when payment falls due. Read warranty conditions for panels, inverter, battery and workmanship separately. Confirm whether the grant estimate assumes an application by you or by the installer. Do not treat an estimate as a confirmed subsidy or a production guarantee.
A clear solar brief gives installers enough information to assess your roof and prepare a useful offer. Compare the same scope, an itemised tax-inclusive price and documented grant assumptions. Fynd's assistant can help you prepare the request and choose which providers to contact.
